Perfectionism-The Killer of Creativity

I lost the love of writing when I tried to make it perfect. Perfectionism kills creativity and vitality because it’s completely unrealistic. When I meet new people I don’t want them to be perfect, I want them to be real. I value genuine conversation about our messy lives. I don’t want to get to know the person you think I want you to be. I want to get to know the person you truly are.

I lost myself and the love of creative expression on my quest to do it all perfectly. So now you will see the beautiful mess that I am. Creating a vibrant life one click of the keypad at a time.

Paying for this blog host and creating my webpage today was the first step in creating the life I’ve always wanted. A platform to connect with the world. I want to share something unique with you. Connect with your soul. Help us both to grow in understanding of ourselves, one another, and the world.

Why do I write?

To connect with myself on a raw, unfiltered level. To open up opportunities of connection around the world. To give people  a sense of freedom to be exactly who they are- messiness and all. To push past the barriers that keep us from living passionate lives through the understanding that love covers all.

So cheers to you my friend for coming on this journey with me. I pray we all turn out to be the most authentic version of ourselves.
