Do you push really hard and make no progress? Has discouragement been a constant friend? You see where you want to be but no matter how hard you try you can’t seem to reach your destination.
You have a glimpse of your biggest dream. Your focus becomes only attaining it. I have found that God has often given me a vision. It feels real and tangible. I begin my work and hope that I attain the vision. As soon as I take steps forward, so do my dreams making them farther out of reach.
Keep moving forward anyway. Keep holding out hope. The lesson is in the journey. You have but a glimpse, not the entire picture. Troubles come and you feel like giving up. You’re losing hope, motivation, and energy.
Rebel against your own thoughts and the opinions of naysayers. Stay close to your Source-expecting clarity, expecting His deliverance, and expecting to have your mind blown.
If I had things happen in my way and timing I would have been sorely disappointed. God has always waited to give me my dreams when I had nothing left but open hands and an open heart. The destination is never really the end, it is always the beginning. The beginning of something brand new.
”God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.” Ps. 46:5
